Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
This policy explains how we collect and use the personal data of the people who visit this website and contact us, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and Italian data protection law.
Data Controller
The data controller is Extraordinary Weddings di Barbara Gourdain, Corso Francia 12/C, 12100 Cuneo (CN), Italy, VAT number IT03366970048.
For any question about this policy or about your personal data you can write to info@extraordinaryweddings.it or call +39 333 217 7393.
What Data We Collect
When you fill in the contact form we collect the information you choose to share with us:
- your names and where you are from
- your email address and phone number
- details about your wedding: preferred date, approximate number of guests, budget range
- how you found us and any message you write to us
Browsing Data
Like every website, the servers hosting this site automatically record technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of the request. This data is used only to keep the website running and secure, and is not used to identify you.
Why We Use Your Data and Legal Basis
- To answer your request and send you information or a proposal for your wedding: processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To plan and organize your wedding if you become our clients: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and protect it from abuse: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not use your data for marketing or newsletters, and we never sell it to third parties.
Who Can Access Your Data
Your data is handled by Barbara Gourdain and, where needed to organize your wedding, by the team members and trusted suppliers involved (for example venues, caterers or travel partners), only with the information they need.
Our technical providers (website hosting, content management system and email services) process data on our behalf as data processors, under written agreements that comply with the GDPR.
Google Fonts
This website uses Google Fonts, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to display text. When a page is loaded, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information is available in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Cookies
This website does not use profiling or analytics cookies and does not track your browsing. The links to our Instagram and Facebook pages are simple links: those platforms only process your data if you visit them, under their own privacy policies.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Contact requests that do not lead to a contract are kept for up to 24 months, so that we can follow up on your enquiry, and are then deleted. If you become our clients, your data is kept for the duration of the contract and afterwards for the period required by Italian tax and accounting law (10 years).
Your Rights
Under the GDPR (Articles 15–22) you have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy of it
- have inaccurate data corrected or completed
- have your data erased, or its processing restricted
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest
- receive your data in a structured, commonly used format (data portability)
How to Exercise Your Rights
Write to info@extraordinaryweddings.it: we will reply within one month. If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
